Your guide — an architect and Amatté's resident curator — points to the formwork marks on the wall and explains how every imperfection was intentional: 'We wanted the building to breathe its construction process.' You walk through narrow corridors that suddenly open into courtyards flooded with light, where bougainvillea clashes violently with the gray of concrete. On the north terrace, you discover the hotel was designed to frame three specific views: the parish to the east, the sierra to the north and the full sky from the rooftop.
